What kinds of nutrients are in Sated shakes?
-Two kinds of protein: fast digesting protein to trigger protein satiety quickly and slow digesting protein to give you protein-based satiety for hours. -5.6 grams fiber from multiple sources: fiber creates bulk in the stomach (triggering bulk satiety sensors), and slows gastric emptying (keeping those bulk sensors firing for longer). -Full complement of micronutrients: the body gets hungry when it’s missing something. When it comes to micronutrients, it’s thought that one of the reasons people eat more calories than they need is because they are missing a micronutrient. In this case, the body will keeps asking for food until it’s either stuffed or gets the nutrients it needs. -Four kinds of fat: Fast, medium, and slow digesting fatty acids. Fat itself is very sating: if you’ve ever struggled to finish a piece of pork belly or noticed that cream cheese on a bagel keeps you full longer, then you’ve experienced fat-based satiety. Coconut and MCT oil are high in medium chain triglycerides which digest rapidly into ketone bodies, which the brain can burn as if they were glucose for a fast burst of fat-based energy. Medium digestion speed olive oil is high in monounsaturated oleic acid, well known for its health benefits. Flax is high in omega-3s, which most people don’t eat enough of and our shakes have an equal ratio to omega-6. Omega-3s are used by the body to build flexible cell walls, and as the precursors to anti-inflammatory hormones. It is thought that over longer terms (we’re talking weeks, months, and years) chronic inflammation triggers excess hunger. -At least 3 grams of prebiotic fiber: Probiotics send in more good bacteria and prebiotics feed the good bacteria already in your gut and keeps your microbiome thriving. A well-fed gut and a happy microbiome is thought to promote satiety in hours 3 through 6 after a meal. -Virtually no net carbs: The near complete absence of glucose creating carbohydrates (aka “net carbs”) means our shakes won’t send you on the blood sugar roller coaster (aka the 3pm blues).

Do you ship internationally?
Sated ships internationally. Any order outside the United States will incur additional shipping charges. A shipping calculator is available in the shopping cart.
All orders will receive an email with tracking information.
Please be aware: Your government may charge taxes, duties, or fees when you import a food product. If you are subjected to these fees, they will be your responsibility to pay them. Unfortunately, we don’t have a way of knowing the import regulations for every country we ship to so please look into your local regulations. We fill out customs forms as accurately as possible, including the amount paid for the product.
There is a chance that your product will be refused entry at the border ( this usually occurs if the product isn’t legal to import to your country). If this happens, we will happily refund the product cost when it gets back to us. Note: we will not be able to refund the shipping fees.

Can I safely use Sated to replace all of my meals?
Sated is dietitian approved and nutritionally complete. Therefore, you never have to worry about how much Sated you’re consuming. You could theoretically replace all meals with Sated, with no known nutritional deficit.
Our shakes are designed to make eating healthy stress-free but situations inevitably arise when delicious keto friendly food is available and we recommend participating in those.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
